We condemn in the strongest terms the unlawful arrest of our Kenyan comrades by the state for upholding their right to peaceful protest against tyranny and oppression!
We encourage the Kenyan citizens to keep the fire burning as this is just intimidation by dictator Ruto!

Yesterday our convener joined comrades of La Mapenduzi on their second conference in Nairobi on bad governance by the Ruto regime. They addressed a press conference replying the Kenyan government of the Ruto regime to the lies, excessive force used by security bodies on handling innocent citizens while exercising their right to protest, the exorbitant taxes that have risen unaffordable cost of living to the grassroots citizens among other issues.

It was a great time meeting one of our great partners, comrade and great mentor prof. Marie Berry , the Executive director of Sié Chéou-Kang Center for International Security & Diplomacy at Women Collective Kenya offices, our sister organization! Practical as she is, we had discussions on the state of affairs in the EA region, updates on the struggles we are building up and organising in general! As always, she is so purposeful and ready to give a hand whenever reached out to. More life, more power more strength. ✊✊

The Executive director of Women Collective Kenya hon Ruth Mumbi joined by our convener Miss Nassimbwa Hamidah taking time listening to the brave women that struggle to make ends meet. This is very important because it's wrong to judge and condemn people whose story you haven't heard! The s*x workers are a network of community members whose rights should be preserved and protected.

Our convener miss Nassimbwa Hamidah joined Women Collective Kenya on a community meeting in Nairobi aimed at alerting community members in Mathare about their right to water. The Kenyan government is on a mission to privatize water an act that will take away citizen's rights to a descent living. In the African traditional society, water was always a community and public good! It's given to us free of charge by God, no one should monopolize ownership to our natural/God given resources!
