In collaboration with CSOs and regional IP(ROM) representatives, IDI conducted a data audit at Komamboga health center together with EADWA to identify any missed opportunities in updating our data records . Based on the findings, the list of remaining unidentified clients was shared with us for follow-up. This activity was helpful in helping us identify gaps and how we can improve efficiently our outputs.

One of our economic groups yesterday benefited from an initiative by IDI aimed to improve the quality of life for group members while also strengthening access to HIV prevention services and retention in care.
One key to note is that while many group members are in HIV care, some face challenges around disclosing their HIV status – even within their own groups. This lack of disclosure has been linked to poor adherence and retention in care.

Tiko Uganda, also known as Tiko Africa, is a non-profit organization focused on improving sexual and reproductive health (SRH) for young people in Uganda, particularly adolescent girls and young women. They utilize a technology-driven approach to connect young people with free SRH services and information, addressing challenges like teenage pregnancy, HIV, and sexual violence.
