We officially launched “𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐨𝐟 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐬 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫-𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐕𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 project in Luweero District.

The launch brought together district leaders, community members, partners, and stakeholders committed to advancing the rights, safety, and leadership of women and girls across and Districts.

𝐈𝐧 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐝𝐨𝐦) and in collaboration with , we will strengthen survivor-centered support, build leadership and self-advocacy skills, promote awareness of land and inheritance rights, and strengthen community responses to gender-based violence in Wakiso and Luweero districts.

At Integration For Peace Uganda, we believe lasting change is possible when communities, institutions, and partners work together to protect, empower, and amplify the voices of women and girls.

Together, we are building safer, more inclusive communities where every woman and girl can live free from violence and realize her full potential.

Through vocational training in tailoring and hairdressing, women and girls are gaining practical skills that promote economic independence, build confidence, and create pathways to sustainable livelihoods.

Through hands-on training, women and girls are developing practical skills that enable them to earn an income, support their families, and contribute to their communities.

At Integration For Peace Uganda, we walk alongside women and girls, equipping them with practical skills that create pathways to economic empowerment and lasting self-reliance.

Menstruation is healthy. Menstruation is normal. Period.
No girl should miss school, feel ashamed, or be held back because of her period.

When girls have access to accurate menstrual health information, safe hygiene products, and supportive environments, they thrive — confidently and without limitation.

Young people are not just participants in development—they are leaders, innovators, and changemakers.

Integration For Peace Uganda was proud to participate in the Youth Dialogue & Milestone Day held at the Makerere University Business School (MUBS) Incubation Hub and organized by Kian Rover & Co Investments Ltd.

The dialogue brought together passionate young people to reflect on leadership, entrepreneurship, innovation, and practical solutions to community challenges. Discussions emphasized the importance of mindset change, mentorship, and moving from conversation to youth-led action for sustainable development.

A major highlight of the event was the graduation of 20 young leaders who successfully completed a three-month Impact, Leadership & Mentorship Program. The graduates were awarded certificates in recognition of their dedication, personal growth, and commitment to creating positive change in their communities.

By investing in young people today, we are helping build a brighter future driven by purpose, innovation, and action.
