I was sitting beside a father and his little daughter at the airport. Every time a plane took off, she would smile and say, “Daddy, our plane is leaving!” Her father gently looked at her and said, “No, sweetheart. That’s not our plane. Our flight will leave at the right time. Don’t worry. We won’t miss it because I’m here.” Those words touched my heart. Her father had already booked the flight. He knew the right time. She didn’t.

Sometimes we are just like that little girl. We see other people getting married, starting a business, buying a home, finding success, or living the life we have been praying for. We begin to wonder if God has forgotten us. But God gently reminds us, “That is not your flight.” “He has made everything beautiful in its time.” Ecclesiastes 3:11. God knows exactly when your time will come because He is the One who planned your journey.

If you are waiting on God today, don’t lose hope. Stay close to the One who booked your flight. Trust Him even when you cannot see what He is doing. “For I know the plans I have for you… plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11. Your time is coming. You have not been forgotten. When God says it is time for you to take off, nothing will be able to stop what He has prepared for your life.

Happy Father’s Day

Happy Father’s Day to every father who is present, every man who chose to stay, love, provide, protect, and lead. Your sacrifices may not always be seen, but they matter more than you know. And to every man who stepped into the life of a child who was not biologically yours, thank you. You are living out the heart of Jesus. Our God is the Father to the fatherless, and through your love, many children have experienced His kindness in a way they may never forget.

To every father who walked away from his children, it’s not too late to come home. Don’t let shame convince you that you have missed your chance. Your child still deserves to know their father, to hear your voice, to receive your love, and to see your face. One phone call, one visit, one honest apology can begin to heal years of pain. Pride builds walls, but love has the power to rebuild what was broken.

And to everyone who grew up without a father, or whose father left, I am truly sorry. I know that kind of pain can leave deep wounds. But please remember this: you are not forgotten, and you are not an orphan. God has always been watching over you, loving you, and calling you His own. Through Jesus, we have all been adopted into the family of God. May He heal every broken heart, restore every family that can still be restored, and bless every father who chooses to love as He loves.

Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us. Ephesians 3:20

Five years ago, if someone had told me what God would do, I would have struggled to believe it.

The children were younger. The challenges were bigger than our resources. Many days we had no idea how things would work out. Yet God remained faithful through every prayer, every tear, every sacrifice, and every step of obedience.

Today, I look at these children growing, learning, smiling, and becoming who God created them to be, and I am reminded that some things can only be explained by the goodness of God. What once seemed impossible has become reality. What once felt like a dream is now a testimony.

God truly does more than we can ask, think, or imagine. If He can do this in the lives of these children, He can do the unimaginable in your life too. Never underestimate what God can do with a surrendered heart, a little faith, and a willingness to trust Him one day at a time.

​Body: We are thrilled to share that the 5and2 Foundation School is now officially powered by the sun! ☀️

​Just a short while ago, we were celebrating the completion of our buildings and plastering. Today, we’ve taken it a step further by installing solar panels. For our students, this means more than just electricity—it means the "darkness" no longer dictates their study schedule.

With reliable light in every classroom, our children can now focus on their books, explore digital tools, and dream bigger than ever before.

By installing this solar power system, we are doing more than upgrading a building; we are ensuring that the Childrens we serve never have to sit in darkness. We move forward with renewed energy and a clear mission: to let His light shine through us as we lead these little ones into a hopeful future.
