Stop Extinction is committed to report and to support the activities that are directed to safeguard the biodiversity and the survival of the species at risk, by monitoring the human being's behaviour (local people, poachers, business activities, etc.) and the policies that should be directed to protect the wealth of species that the nature gives us. THE MISSION
We believe that informati
on and action are the two key words for tending to a real safeguard of the actual biodiversity, already worn out from decades of ignorance, wild couldn't-care-less attitude and mere economical profit culture. The introduction of several National Parks and Reserves in almost any country of the world has been a good turning point for the protection of fauna and flora, however in vast areas of the world the culture of biodiversity safeguard is not considered yet. There is a lot of work, and hundred governmental, no profit, public and private organisations are undertaking the mission to fight against the indifference. However they often have to work in isolated environments, where no one is really interested on their mission. Our profit age gives no so much space to activism for right causes. And if the human rights are still a sensitive topic, the nature right - that is anyway related to us, because we are part of the nature – is not an important topic. For example what is happening either in the remote Congolese territories or in the Amazonas forest for the majority is not interesting and not important for our comfortable daily life. Although without protecting them, we are interefering heavily with our future and the one of the next generations. If you don't want to be part of those who are jeopardizing our fragile but wonderful ecosystem, be informed and be active. We believe that the trend can change if the information spreads throughout the countries and the people start to feel the need to make the difference. We believe in it. Our commitment is to report you what is happening in many areas of the world, to discover what are the successful stories, but above all to highlight about what is not working yet and what should be done for improving the situation. At the same time, through the fundraising we want to support all the activities that are pursuing our same aim.
