A Simple JerryCan. A Lifeline. ππ§
Through our partnership with Tameside Community Computers CIC, we were able to distribute 50 Γ 20-litre jerrycans to community members who rely on distant boreholes for water.
For many families, there is no running water. Collecting water means walking up to 3 miles each way, often every single day. These jerrycans are not just containers β they are a lifeline.
Each jerrycan costs only Β£2, yet for many households this is equivalent to a full dayβs wage.
The impact was deeply moving:
β’ One elder shared that he had been praying for a jerrycan, as his old one was leaking.
β’ Another woman told our Directors that receiving one felt like Godβs intervention, as she had been wondering how she would get a jerrycan to fetch water.
π Moments like these remind us that small acts of kindness can answer big prayers.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Tameside Community Computer Centre for standing with us and helping bring dignity, relief, and hope to these communities.
