AFRIpads, and Girls with Dignity Africa carried out a school outreach to support the girl child.
During this activity, girls received menstrual health education and reusable AfriPads to help them manage their periods with confidence and dignity. The session created a safe space for learning, questions, and encouragement, reminding every girl that her dreams matter.
Because of this support, many girls are now able to stay in school, participate fully in class, and focus on their future without fear or shame during their menstrual days.
Your support can change a girl’s story.
Together, we can keep more girls in school and help them achieve their dreams.

AFRIpads continues to make a powerful difference in the lives of schoolgirls by providing high-quality, reusable sanitary pads that promote dignity, comfort, and confidence. By addressing the challenge of menstrual product affordability and access, AfriPads helps remove one of the biggest barriers to girls’ education.

Not having a sanitary pad is never an excuse or a reason for a girl to become pregnant. Pregnancy does not happen because someone lacks a pad it happens because of sexual activity. That is a choice, and every girl has the right and power to make wise decisions about her body.
Menstruation is a natural and healthy part of growing up. Lacking proper menstrual products can be uncomfortable, stressful, and even embarrassing, but it should never push a girl into risky behavior. No one should feel pressured to exchange their body for money, gifts, or pads. Your body is valuable. Your future is important. A temporary need should never cost you a lifetime responsibility.

Pregnancy comes with physical, emotional, and financial responsibilities. It can interrupt education, limit opportunities, and change life plans. That is why it is important for girls to understand that protecting their bodies means protecting their dreams. Saying “no” is strength. Waiting is wisdom. Choosing self-respect is power.
If you are in need of sanitary pads, speak to a trusted adult, teacher, health worker, women’s group, or community organization. Many communities, schools, churches, and NGOs provide support. You are not alone, and help is available without sacrificing your dignity.

Girls, remember:
• Your body is not a bargaining tool.
• Your period is natural, not shameful.
• Your future is bigger than temporary challenges.
• Pregnancy is not caused by poverty it is caused by decisions.
Choose education. Choose self-worth. Choose a future you are proud of. Girls with Dignity AfricaAFRIpadsBinti Umazi@all
