Members,
Today, the Chairperson Mr Ocen Samuel of the Soroti District Scouts Council ably steered the meeting, and we successfully passed the 2026 workplan. Many key resolutions were made during the meeting.
I sincerely thank all members who turned up and actively participated.
Special appreciation goes to RCC Oroma Musa for standing with us during today’s meeting.
We also thank the Sports Officer, Soroti District, who represented the Education Department, for the great support and contribution.

In scouting competitions, a project is a practical, planned activity that scouts design and undertake to address a community problem, demonstrate skills, and exhibit teamwork and leadership. It is not just a concept—it must be implemented and presented during the competition. In these specific projects, scouts in groups of 8 were tasked with using two marsh sticks to prepare tea in 5 minutes, ready for consumption.
These fosters team work,creativity and teamspirit in young people.
