Who we are
We are a registered Nonprofit Organisation (NGO)with three different projects to empower orphans and vulnerable children through education, self-help skills and medical support.
The founder of the organization, Peter, was himself a street child and thus shares the fate of many children in Uganda.
He founded "Keilah Community Childcare" in 2018 for various reasons. Apart from high poverty levels, a lack of infrastructure and food, medical care and education, other problems plague the communities. Due to the HIV pandemic, many children have lost both parents and are left to fend for themselves. The children are often infected themselves and have to live on the streets. The number of young teenage mothers is also increasing due to lack of education.
Since there is not enough support from the government, the communities are on their own.
Our goal is to educate and make a big difference with even small contributions.
We want to help the children who are vulnerable in the communities and forgotten by the world.

We are giving the gift of education to the next generation. Through your generous donations and volunteering we are able to help give these young humans a better chance in life.

Education helps eradicate poverty and hunger, giving people the chance at better lives. This is one of the biggest reasons why parents strive to make their kids attend school as long as possible. It is also why nations work toward promoting easier access to education for both children and adults. -
