In our engagement with youth from Ntungamo district ,it was evidenced that the UN Security Council resolution on 2250 on youth peace and security Agenda remains new to them. More capacity building trainings are needed to empower youth understand agenda.

Further there is need to push for the National Action Plan on Youth peace and security for Uganda as this will empower peace advocates to localize YPS at local levels.

Career guidance is core in our work, In partnership with university students ,we aim at motivating young children and youth to understand their rights and make informed decisions for better future. Inspiration is very key to build a strong generation of young people who understand social and exotic affairs of the country.

Inspiration our engagements ,students indicated limited career guidance sessions and some informed that their parents fear to share with them some of the issues they are facing.

The issues of gender based violence also came in which is affecting performance of children and youth at different levels of education.

Together we can empower children and youth to make informed decisions for better future.

Crossboarder youth engagement under the Women and youth in democracy initiative. The gathering happened at Essela hotel in Kampala Uganda and brought together youth from Kenya ,Zambia and Uganda. Together we can build the peace want to see now!
