🌱 A Journey of Sustainable Change Through Veganic Farming 🌱
We are grateful to share an inspiring update from the Ethical Vegans Community Transition Project, which was created to support former slaughterhouse workers as they transition from slaughterhouse employment into sustainable, plant-based livelihoods.
Thanks to your support, the project is going well! 🙏🏽🌱 Many of our farmers are still harvesting their crops, putting food on tables, creating income, and building a future rooted in compassion rather than killing.
One of the most exciting developments is that our farmers have found markets where they can sell their produce together as a group. In some communities, farmers are even putting their earnings together with the dream of opening their own food stores, allowing them to sell plant-based foods at more affordable wholesale prices while strengthening their local economy.
This is more than farming. ❤️
It is about creating jobs, restoring dignity, making plant-based food accessible, protecting animals, caring for the environment, and building communities that can sustain themselves.
