Today we spent the entire day learning to make pencil cases, pen holders, and other handmade crafts.
After just one attempt, we successfully created several items.

We're grateful to Charity Good and their supporters who supported us with funds to buy materials and equipments for the Art & Craft Program.

These skills will help us produce more crafts for sale, creating sustainable income to support our children and community programs.

Exciting news! 🛹 We've secured a new rented, walkable space for our skateboard program, making it much easier for children and youth to access our lessons. Next month, we'll share more details about the location and our vision to transform it into a mini concrete skatepark.

We'll also be inviting everyone who believes in this dream to help us develop this exciting community space.

Every day, we work to keep children in school, provide essential support, and create opportunities for families in need. Instead of relying on emergency fundraising, we're building a long-term solution.

Our goal is to raise $7,000 | $6,000 to stock the Neighborhood Food Store that will generate sustainable income for our programs, and $1,000 to cover transaction fees.

30% profits will help support children, families & programs to reduce the need for repeated donation appeals.

We chose blue and orange because we believe colours can communicate our mission.

-Blue represents trust, stability, peace, and reliability, reflecting a foundation that is responsible, caring, and dependable.

-Orange represents hope, energy, creativity, happiness, and encouragement, connecting with children, youth, learning, and positive change.

Together, blue and orange create a balance between trust and excitement, blue shows that we are dependable, while orange represents the opportunities and hope we want to create for a better tomorrow.

NOTE: We chose a circular logo for Dream House Foundation because the circle symbolizes community, unity, and togetherness. It represents people coming together with a shared purpose, supporting one another, and working collectively toward a better tomorrow.

The unbroken shape also reflects inclusion, continuity, and our commitment to building lasting hope and opportunities for children, families, and communities.

📢 Public Notice: Organization Name Change

Hello friends, partners, and supporters,
We are pleased to announce that our organization has officially changed its name from Dream House Uganda to Dream House Foundation.

During the renewal of our registration certificate, we changed our name from Dream House Uganda to Dream House Foundation following guidance from the registration authorities. The new name better reflects our mission while our programs, leadership, and commitment to serving the community remain unchanged.

We also took this opportunity because many people have asked what "Dream House Uganda" represents. Our new name, Dream House Foundation, more clearly reflects who we are and the work we do to support children, youth, and vulnerable communities through education, sports, and community development programs.

Please note that only our name has changed. Our mission, values, leadership, and dedication to serving our community remain exactly the same.
