Meet Shabban!

Shabban recently sat for his Primary 7 exams, but his results did not reflect his effort. He is a survivor of hydrocephalus, a condition that made his learning journey difficult and full of challenges. While other children moved forward with ease, he has had to fight for every step.

During our recent home visit, we sat with him, listened, and looked beyond the results. And in that quiet moment, something powerful stood out,his heart has not given up.

Shabban has a dream to become a tailor.
A chance to learn a skill, work with his hands, and build a future for himself. But right now, that dream needs support.

FOCEI is seeking help to enroll Shabban in a tailoring course and provide the tools he needs to begin.
Sometimes, all it takes is one opportunity to change a life.

Today we celebrate International Women’s Day and honor the strength, resilience, and dedication of women everywhere.

At FOCEI, we recognize the powerful role women play in transforming families and communities. Many of the children we support are raised by hardworking mothers and grandmothers who sacrifice daily to ensure their children have access to education, healthcare, and a brighter future.

We are also proud of the incredible women in our FOCEI farmers’ group, who work together to support their families and uplift their communities. Their determination is a true example of empowerment in action.

When women are empowered, children thrive and communities grow stronger.

With grateful hearts, we celebrate all that God has helped us accomplish this past year and the lives touched through love, learning, and hope.

Thank you to every friend, partner, and supporter who has stood with us. Your prayers, encouragement, and generosity continue to make a real difference for our children and community.

As we step into this new year, we believe in God’s promises and look forward to even greater impact more dreams nurtured, more children empowered, and more families strengthened.

Children had a wonderful time during game time, laughing, playing, and enjoying every moment together. Afterwards, they happily received gifts, including donated clothes, shoes, and bags. Seeing their excitement and smiles was truly heartwarming.
