Today we collected soil washed away by rain. We refill. Again.

Water follows into classrooms. So now we are constructing around the building - digging trenches, raising soil, building a verandah barrier to stop water.

This is to protect 180 children learning here. More join daily - From Loitering to Education.

We build with our hands. We protect what we built.

Today we collected soil washed away by rain. We refill. Again.

Holiday village check-up.

School is on holiday, but care does not go on holiday.

Teacher Mercy walked into the village this morning. No clinic table. No white coat. Just her small bag and two little ones sitting by the hut playing with seeds.
She squatted to their level. Listened. Smiled. Checked on them.

This is what love looks like in Kiryandongo. Dusty ground, thatched huts, but a teacher who refuses to forget her children during holiday.

Holiday time, but Samuel rushed back to us at school after cutting his leg.

Why? Because for our children, school is not just school. It is home. It is .

Many of you don't know my wife Teacher Mercy's story. Since childhood, her heart was to become a nurse.

Life brought challenges. She couldn't get the certificate. But God never took away the calling.

The certificate was stopped. The calling was not.

Today, God is still using her hands to heal in Kiryandongo. No clinic nearby, so she became the clinic. Washing. Dressing. Caring with love.

This picture is not just first-aid. It is a calling that refused to die.

We are believing God for a small community clinic corner, a clean place to better answer Samuel and many children like him, and the mothers around us.

And we are believing God to take Teacher Mercy for her nursing certification. Because:

Willing Heart + Certification + Favor = Solution.

God already gave us the willing . He gave us Mercy.
Now we trust Him for the next steps.

"For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." - Ephesians 2:10

Please pray with us for Samuel's quick healing, and for Mercy's dream to fully live. 🙏

Why? Because for our children, school is not just school. It is home. It is .

"I AM TIRED. BUT THE CHILDREN ARE STILL LEARNING. 🌧️"

Friends, I need to be honest with you tonight.

This is our classroom.
When it rains, the water comes in with the children.
Mud on the floor. Cold on their uniforms. Gaps in the walls.

And yet... they sit. They write. They learn.

From loitering to learning... even in the rain.

I am one man carrying this work.
The rent. The teachers. The food. The books. The leaking roof.
Some nights I don’t sleep because I don’t know how we will manage.

But then I look at their faces.
And I remember why I started NiaCare.

These children deserve better.
They deserve a classroom that is dry. Safe. Dignified.

I cannot do this alone anymore.
