Dear sponsors, partners and friends, 2025 has been a roller coaster. A lot has happened and growth has taken place.

We are very grateful for all our sponsors, partners and friends for always coming through to support these children and families.

Every year, you the sponsors and partners have always cared to share a Christmas gift to each of our children. The children and their families are always looking forward to this day when they receive their gifts.

This year’s Christmas, we offered each child a Christmas hygiene hamper. It was enclosed of a pair of a nice bed sheets with 2 pillow cases, a nice towel, a basin, sanitary towels for girls, Nail cutter, shavers etc. We cut a cake for all the caregivers and children, shared drinks and it was such a wonderful end of year celebration.

We cannot thank you enough for always coming through to support our causes.

We wish each one of you happy holidays with your loved ones.

What a way to end the year! This year’s Christmas gift to all our sponsored children was a treat to a Tour!

We hired a tourist company that brought three coasters to take us to Uganda’s Capital Kampala for site seeing and fun.

Firstly, We went to Super Loaf Bakery first thing in the morning, where every child was gifted a whole bread. We proceeded to Kajjansi Airstrip to learn about aircraft/airplanes. We were taught how it flies and some of the parts of the aero plane. We took pictures on one of them.

After the Airstrip, we proceeded to Uganda Wildlife Conservation Education Center or Entebbe Zoo to see some animals and birds. It was a joy to see lions, elephants, Giraffes, Monkeys, gorillas, Tigers and baboons among others.

We were treated to a buffet for lunch from the Zoo which was super delicious and everyone was ready to head home.

However, it wasn’t done yet, we ended the day at Freedom City children’s park. Omg, this was a huge highlight; children enjoyed the swimming, rollercoaster rides, huge bouncing castles, other different rides and swings. The company Teens and Tots safaris surprised the children with the Merry Christmas Cake!

What a Christmas gift it has been!

We want to thank our staff for doing an amazing job of ensuring safety and fun to all our children led by Rose Nabankema.

We also want to thank our sponsors for making this happen for these children. These are huge memories and they will never get out of our minds. We are super grateful your unending support and generosity.

We took a million photos and enjoy going through these we have posted.

We wish you happy Holidays. We love you

What a day it has been as we hosted a Amy Petersen, the Public Affairs Officer from the USA Embassy Kampala at Shepherd High School Katovu alongside the team from American Center Kampala!

We are extremely grateful for the wonderful interactions, the great work America is doing in Uganda and the training offered to our students by the American Center Kampala on the existing opportunities like study in America, public speaking and other career opportunities.

Our students were thrilled with this rare opportunity and so thankful for this opportunity to learn more about opportunities at the US Embassy Kampala.

Amy Petersen spoke highly about Dr. Judy Shepherd who has done a tremendous work in the community and her impact to the country as Fulbright scholar when she first came to Uganda in 2012!

Amy also met with the PACE makers at our school they shared what they are about regarding their individual projects they are working on. PACE is project run by the Michigan Fellows African Initiative (MFAI) where our students are participating.
