The New Hope Foundation is a charitable non-government, and non-profit Community Based Organization(CBO) that was established in 2019 with a primar
y intention of transforming and restoring the lives of the residents of Kyotera and the neighboring districts and Uganda in particular from their unpleasant to the new pleasant living conditions. The initiative was ultimately thought of by a group of researchers / social welfare activists after realizing the great need to help orphans /neglected children, youths and widows in the Kyotera district and the neighboring districts such as Rakai and Lwengo. Based on the fact that these districts were most affected by HIV/AIDS in Uganda and East Africa in particular, there is no way such districts could escape the problem of orphans and widows as well, thus the epidemic gave birth to unpleasant living conditions such as increased vulnerability as witnessed through inability of children to access quality education ,domestic violence ,cumulative unemployment among youths, homelessness, early child marriages, inability to access improved medication especially those living with HIV/AIDS, poor worn-out shelter, all these navigated the founders to amalgamate resources and ideas to start making a “walk” to the restoration of "New Hope"among the less privileged residents of Kyotera and the neighboring districts.
