Infinity Ideas Network We envision to create & provide job opportunities to Deaf young people for their sustainable living! WHY THE DEAF AND DISABLED?
(1)

Deaf and disabled people in Uganda are among the most stigmatized people. They often live in isolation and are excluded from their communities, from up-to-date education systems, health care and other vital services. Most times they are hidden away by their families as they consider them as as bad omen to the family. Deaf people live in extreme poverty and are often the last to benefit from any pr

ogram designed to reduce poverty without specific attention thus remain disproportionately at risk to the life-limiting consequences of inveterate poverty. For more of what we do, check out our website: https://infinityideasnet.org/get-involved/donate/

Samuel continues to impress us with his thriving business - a school canteen at a local primary school in his area.

Pupils from the school and neighbours are his major customers enabling his business to sustain. He sells stationery and snacks and refreshments which are much needed by his customers.

Let's continue supporting his endeavours.

On 7th December 2024 we held a financial literacy training for our members to close off our first cycle. Here we asked members to write business plans for their ideas they wanted to be supported with a maximum capital of 500,000 shillings ($135).

As we entered the new year over 10 members submitted their application and only 2 best applicants were selected to receive this seed capital grant.

Today Roy Rusa and Barbara Nakawooya received the funds and are off to invest in their businesses. Hon. Nalule Safia helped us to hand over the funds during our meeting.

Roy is to invest in his graphics design and stationery business located at Nasser Road, Kampala and Barbara is to invest in her salon business located in Kitala - Entebbe.
