GAF Eye Health Foundation, through the Sight Buddies initiative, conducted an eye health screening at Magale Senior Secondary School. The activity aimed to promote awareness, early detection, and timely management of eye conditions among students. A total of 115 students were screened during the exercise. The screening provided an opportunity to identify students who may require further eye examination, treatment, or referral for appropriate care. We appreciate the school administration, teachers, students, and Sight Buddies team for their cooperation and support. Through such school-based initiatives, we continue to bring essential eye health services closer to young people and promote healthier vision for better learning and future opportunities.

It has been a great and inspiring day benchmarking at the Society for the Blind, where we gained valuable insights into visual rehabilitation services and the studio for persons with visual impairment. The visit provided an opportunity to learn from their experience, systems, innovations, and approaches to empowering visually impaired persons to live independent and productive lives. We appreciate the warm reception and knowledge shared by the team. The lessons learned will contribute to strengthening visual rehabilitation services at GAF Community Eye Center and improving support for people living with visual impairment in our communities. It was truly an enriching and meaningful experience

We greatly appreciate Charity Vision’s continued partnership, support, and dedication to restoring sight and transforming lives in underserved communities. The engagement strengthened our shared commitment to expanding eye health services, supporting vulnerable patients, and building sustainable solutions for preventable blindness.
