Twekambe Women’s Savings Group brings together hardworking women who save, support one another, and uplift their families through unity and shared purpose. What started as small weekly savings has grown into a powerful movement of hope, resilience, and community strength.

Empowering Young Voices in SRHR & Family Planning
Rays of Kindness Initiative Uganda (ROKI) took center stage in conversations surrounding youth health, family planning, and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). Our Team Leader & Director participated in a highly impactful panel discussion, shedding light on the critical role young people play in shaping the future of SRHR policies and services in Africa.

The session emphasized the importance of youth-led advocacy in breaking down cultural and systemic barriers and ensuring inclusive policies that empower adolescent girls and young women.

Rays of Kindness Initiative Uganda (ROKI) took center stage in conversations surrounding youth health, family planning, and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). Our Team Leader & Director participated in a highly impactful panel discussion, shedding light on the critical role young people play in shaping the future of SRHR policies and services in Africa.

ROKI's commitment to youth empowerment continued with an engaging interview with . Our director explored how youth involvement in family planning can drive change, advocating for increased access to information, services, and policy spaces where young people can make informed decisions about their reproductive health.
Our director was also featured in a special podcast, where we discussed the intersection of mental health and youth well-being. Through the Empower Her Future campaign, we aim to provide 100 girls and young women in Luwero with vital vocational training in tailoring, hairdressing, soap making, and cosmetology.

Many young girls in Uganda, especially in Luwero District, face limited opportunities for education and personal growth due to societal and economic challenges. These barriers often result in early pregnancies, loss of future prospects, and vulnerability to violence.

Through the Empower Her Future campaign, we aim to provide 100 girls and young women in Luwero with vital vocational training in fields like tailoring, hairdressing, soap making, and cosmetology.

Your support can help give them the tools they need to rebuild their lives, foster economic independence, and tackle the challenges of early pregnancies, HIV, and gender-based violence.
