BACKGROUND
Africa Child Care Association (ACCA) is a community based organization which is established in Uganda mainly with the aspiration of catering for the orphans in Uganda more especially Northern Region, oyam district in particular. African child care association came in to existence due to the aspiration of Brenda Ejang and Medina Kabasindi as fellow orphans who suffered difficulties durin
g their education as orphans, this is because most funds could not reach the grass root budgeted orphans and in most cases the fund ended up funding the rich not the vulnerable orphans, this inspired them to extend a helping hand by giving the little they have to support the vulnerable orphans. The purpose of Africa child care association (ACCA) is to care and provide for the orphans who have been most impacted by the AIDS epidemic and 24year of war with the rebel forces in northern Uganda. our goal is to provide a nurturing home ,a quality education ,sufficient medical care, an effective character based mentoring program and on going community that will empower them to establish themselves in a career and serve as leaders in their communities and country.
