Lango Filmmakers Association is pleased to announce the official CAST CALL for our upcoming feature film titled โ€œTHE HONOURABLE LESSON.โ€ This powerful village drama is part of our ongoing contribution to unity, storytelling, and the rebuilding of Lango through cinema.

We are looking for talented actors and actresses of all ages to join this inspiring project:

๐ŸŽฌ CAST REQUIREMENTS:
Age Range: 7 to 80 years old

Gender: All

Language: Luo (Lango dialect) preferred, but not mandatory

Experience: All levels welcome (New faces encouraged!)

Priority: Members of the Lango Filmmakers Association (LAFA)

Lango Filmmakers Association Launches to Empower Creatives and Preserve Culture Through Film

Lango Filmmakers Association (LAFA), a Community-Based Organisation, is officially opening its doors to unite and support all filmmakers from across the Lango Sub-region.

LAFAโ€™s mission is to provide a platform for collaboration, education, and storytelling, especially among youth and underrepresented voices. The association aims to develop regional talent, promote cultural identity through film, and contribute to economic growth in the creative industry.

"Our stories deserve to be told by us, through our own lens," says Francis Ageta - President. "With LAFA, weโ€™re creating a home for Langoโ€™s film visionaries."

LAFA invites filmmakers, students, media professionals, and cultural advocates to join and participate in upcoming workshops, festivals, and film productions.
