What determines the future of a child affected by war is not where they come from, but who chooses to walk with them next.

As we continue our Orange Week under the global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, Blessed to Bless Life Ministries reaffirms our commitment to creating safer, more inclusive communities for women, men, girls, and boys—online and offline.
Today, we join the world in marking World Soil Day and International Volunteer Day. Healthy soil sustains life, and dedicated volunteers sustain hope. We honor all volunteers who give their time and energy to uplift refugee children, empower youth, and strengthen families in our settlement.

Today, we join the world in recognizing the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
In Kyaka II Refugee Settlement, many children and adults living with disabilities face unique challenges—limited access to services, stigma, distance barriers, and invisibility in community programs. At BBLM, we affirm that every person, regardless of ability, carries dignity, value, and God-given potential.
We commit to creating safe, inclusive spaces where disabled refugee children can learn, play, express talent, and be fully supported.
No one should be left behind.

World AIDS Day | 1 December

Today, we stand in solidarity with millions around the world as we mark International World AIDS Day—a global reminder that the fight against HIV/AIDS is not for a few, but a shared responsibility for us all. At Blessed to Bless Life Ministries (BBLM), this day carries deep meaning in our refugee community, where awareness, accurate information, and compassion can save lives.

Through our KIPODI Program, we teach children and young people the truth about HIV—how it is transmitted, how it is NOT transmitted, why testing matters, and why empathy is essential. Stigma remains one of the biggest battles, and we believe that knowledge + kindness = protection.

HIV is not the end. Every child, youth, mother, father, and community member deserves dignity, safety, access to testing, education, and support. Today we reaffirm our commitment to creating an informed generation—one that understands health, equality, and the power of standing together.

As we honor this day, we call upon partners, supporters, and organizations to join hands with us in raising awareness, ending stigma, and building healthier communities especially in Refugee Settlements.

Together, let’s engage in this battle. Together, we can create a world free from stigma and full of hope.

On June 24th, 2025, we joined the world in commemorating World Refugee Day under the powerful theme: “In Solidarity with Refugees.” Today, I take a moment to reflect on what that day meant, and what it must continue to mean.

As a Refugee-Led Organization (RLO) leader and an advocate for displaced communities through Blessed to Bless Life Ministries, I’ve come to learn that solidarity is not just a word we post; it's a path we walk daily.

👉 Being in solidarity with refugees goes beyond sympathy. It means listening to their voices, acknowledging their strength, and creating space for their dreams to thrive.

We saw it clearly during our WRD celebration; hope rising, stories shared, and a call to unity echoed. But let that energy not end there.

To our partners, supporters, and global friends:
Don’t just help us survive, help us grow.
Invest in our education, health, creativity, and spiritual resilience.

And to fellow RLOs, refugee youth, and community members:
Let’s support each other.
Let’s break cycles of division, and together, rise with dignity and purpose.

We may live in uncertain circumstances, but our vision is steady.
