World AIDS Day | 1 December
Today, we stand in solidarity with millions around the world as we mark International World AIDS Dayโa global reminder that the fight against HIV/AIDS is not for a few, but a shared responsibility for us all. At Blessed to Bless Life Ministries (BBLM), this day carries deep meaning in our refugee community, where awareness, accurate information, and compassion can save lives.
Through our KIPODI Program, we teach children and young people the truth about HIVโhow it is transmitted, how it is NOT transmitted, why testing matters, and why empathy is essential. Stigma remains one of the biggest battles, and we believe that knowledge + kindness = protection.
HIV is not the end. Every child, youth, mother, father, and community member deserves dignity, safety, access to testing, education, and support. Today we reaffirm our commitment to creating an informed generationโone that understands health, equality, and the power of standing together.
As we honor this day, we call upon partners, supporters, and organizations to join hands with us in raising awareness, ending stigma, and building healthier communities especially in Refugee Settlements.
Together, letโs engage in this battle. Together, we can create a world free from stigma and full of hope.
