It was on the 20th-Dec-2024 when this Gateway bus caught fire at around 1:32 AM along Jinja-Iganga highway after the behinf tyre busted as it was heading to Moroto.
It is believed that the bus was full beyond capacity, and it had also heavy loads in the boots.
Many people lost documents and other properties to the consuming fire since it could not be stopped due to lack of emergency solutions like fire extinguishers or sand.
We therefore appeal to other bus companies to also allocate some buses in Kampala-Moroto road in order to cub these incidences and solve issues of overloading. YY Coaches and Courier Services GATEWAY BUS SERVICE LTD (FANS) GL

The headteacher of Lomukura Primary school came to visit Namejio Shrine Community Kraal School to assess some intelligent pupils as they receive their report cards, so as to absorb them in his school, he was really appreciative of such initiative as Afande Lopeyo John one of the founders explains to him more about the intentions of sitting the school.

Mr. Aema Joseph Wallace from Bokora (Napak District) having an interaction with the Jie shepherds at Namejio Shrine Community Kraal School (Kotido District), the school was started through small interactions with the shepherds to start taking classes for some small time before going to graze animals, generally it was all based on promoting peace and love in the region. The school number of pupils is growing bigger and bigger.

Namejio Shrine Community Kraal School in kotido District was started by a UPDF soldier called Afande Lopeyo John as another alternative to fight insecurity by cutting off the continuous high rate of illiteracy by mobilising the village kids to start school in his infrastructureless school.
