CHAIRPERSON’S REPORT | API VISITATION PROGRAM
The Academic Pathways Initiative (API) successfully conducted a visitation and engagement program at Nyarilo Secondary School and Koboko Town College within Koboko Municipal.
The visit was guided by key objectives, including providing mentorship, academic guidance, and motivational support to learners; strengthening partnerships with secondary schools; and creating awareness about academic opportunities, scholarships, and career pathways.
During the engagement, the API team conducted mentorship sessions, career guidance discussions, and motivational talks aimed at inspiring discipline, resilience, and goal-oriented learning. API scholars also shared real-life experiences, offering relatable insights to students.
Key Observations:
• Students demonstrated strong interest, attentiveness, and eagerness to learn.
• There is a growing need for deeper mentorship in career guidance, study habits, and personal development.
• School administrations expressed appreciation for the initiative and welcomed continued collaboration.
