On 8th May 2026, I took time to pray with and officially flag off my elder son Muhindo Nelbert as he travelled to represent Bwera Secondary School at the national tournament.

May Almighty God grant him protection, strength, wisdom, excellent performance, and success throughout the competition. We wish him and his team the very best as they proudly represent their school.

Prayer Request

On January 21, 2026, our beloved priest, Fr. Ben, was involved in an accident in the afternoon hours when he was struck by a speeding motorcycle. He has been admitted to St. Paul’s Hospital, Kasese Town, for treatment.

We kindly ask all our friends, partners, and well-wishers to keep Fr. Ben in your prayers for a swift and full recovery.

May God protect and heal him.

Christmas Outreach of Love and Hope

Under the Rise and Shine Humanitarian Ministries Uganda (RSHMU), Bishop Robert Baluku Thawithemwira OSB has extended Christmas gifts to the orphans of the late Thembo Jackson (aka Kathembo), who sadly succumbed to poisoning in recent years.
Among the beneficiaries was also Thembo Benerd, together with other vulnerable children and individuals supported through this outreach.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the great servant of God from Rhode Island, USA, for his continued love, generosity, and compassion toward vulnerable communities in Uganda. Your kindness has brought joy, hope, and dignity to those in need this Christmas season.
