Mzungu, a Humanist journey - Martin Forrester

Mzungu, a Humanist journey - Martin Forrester I'm sad to say the journey is coming to an end, I have tried everything, but I just can't stay here legally. Goodbye Uganda! Hi!

Mzungu is the southern, central and eastern African term for a person of foreign (or white) descent. Literally translated it means “someone who roams around aimlessly” or “aimless wanderer” (from the Swahili and Ganda words). The kids shout it at me a lot as I go about my business here in Kasese, Uganda, but it is a little unfair, as I am far from aimless. I do everything I can to support Mr Robert and his non-profit Humanist schools, which have a high proportion of orphans.

Please give anything you can spare, I recently paid for someone's root canal, so I'm short this month.
