Football must be fun and enjoyable for kids to commit their free time to skill development. Pressure from coaches, teammates, and parents to win can undermine this enjoyment and hinder their development.

Football is more than a game in Kasese — it is a tool for transformation.

When we founded Kasese Junior Soccer Academy in 2018 in Nyamwamba Division, we started with only 40 children from areas like Mumbuzi, kizungu , kisagazi,Umoja, habitat,Nyakasanga, Acholi Quarters, and Kisanga. Today, we proudly serve over 380 children aged 4-20 years, both boys and girls.

Many of our children face serious challenges: flooding from River Nyamwamba, school dropouts, early marriages, teenage pregnancies, drug abuse, and idleness. We use football to change this narrative.

OUR IMPACT TO KIDS & COMMUNITY:

1. Education: We keep children in school. Football has reduced school dropouts and we promote discipline and homework clubs.

2. Health & Discipline: We keep kids physically fit, mentally strong, and away from drugs and bad groups.

3. Girls Empowerment: We give girls a safe space to play, lead, and dream. We fight early marriages and teenage pregnancies through sports awareness.

4. Unity & Peace: On the pitch, tribal, clan and village differences disappear. We are One Team, One Dream.

5. Talent Development: We nurture raw talent into future stars. Our boys like Mumbere Dan are now shining in national secondary school competitions.

6. Community Growth: Our matches and trainings bring parents together, support local small businesses, and create volunteer coaching opportunities for youth.

From a small community initiative to a home of 380 dreams — we are building futures through football.

We are Kasese Junior Soccer Academy. We Empower Kids, We Transform Community.
