Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty."- 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 King James Bible

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LARSEN KELLY

On behalf of Believers Restoration Ministries Uganda, I, Pastor Joel Leto, celebrate the gift of your life today.

Larsen, your outstanding endeavor to spread the Word of God across Uganda and Africa is a testimony to Matthew 5:16 — “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

The Lord said in Isaiah 52:7, “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation.” That is your story. You have chosen to run the race and fight the good fight, 2 Timothy 4:7, and through you many are hearing the gospel and turning to Christ.

As you mark another year, my prayer is from Numbers 6:24-26: “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.”

May He strengthen your hands for the work, Nehemiah 6:9, enlarge your territory, 1 Chronicles 4:10, and continue to use you as a letter known and read by all, 2 Corinthians 3:2, so that non-believers in Uganda and beyond will see Christ in you.

We thank God for you. Keep preaching repentance and the kingdom, Matthew 4:17, for the harvest is plentiful.

Happy Birthday, and may this new year be filled with grace upon grace.

Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
As it is written in 2 Corinthians 9:7, “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” With that spirit, we invite you to partner with us in the work God has placed before us.
At BELIEVERS RESTORATION MINISTRIES UGANDA BRMU ], we are committed to [feeding the hungry, spreading the Gospel, building homes, etc.]. Through God’s provision and the generosity of faithful believers like you, we have witnessed lives transformed, hope restored, and communities uplifted.
Proverbs 19:17 reminds us: “Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will reward them for what they have done.” Your gift is not just a donation—it’s a seed planted in God’s Kingdom, one that bears eternal fruit.
Would you prayerfully consider giving today? Whether your offering is large or small, given in faith and love, it becomes part of something far greater than any of us alone could accomplish. Together, we can continue to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
If you have any questions or would like to learn more about how your support makes an impact, please feel free to reach out. We'd be honored to share the stories of how God is moving through your generosity.
May the Lord bless you and keep you,
May His face shine upon you and give you peace.
(Numbers 6:24-26)

God uses ordinary people for extraordinary purposes.
Peter and Andrew were simple fishermen, yet Jesus called them to spread the Gospel and bring glory to His name.

Your background, status, or past does not limit what God can do through you.
If He can use fishermen to change the world, He can use you too. 🔥

A shocking attack took place in Jinja district in eastern Uganda, where a Muslim family reportedly cut off the hands of their relative after he converted to Christianity.
The victim, Kalegeya Faruku, a 40-year-old man, says his own relatives turned on him and maimed him when he accepted Christ in early March 2026

He says the relatives began sending him threatening messages after learning about his new faith, and he knew it was unsafe to stay in his home.
On April 17, he returned to his family home in Jinja to collect some personal belongings, intending to relocate to Busembatia Town Council, where a friend who had shared the gospel with him lived. However, upon his arrival, Faruku was ambushed by his brothers.
“I found my brothers waiting for me, as if they had been informed,” Faruku recounted.

The world teaches people to chase money, success, pleasure, and recognition, but none of those things can save a soul. One day every person will stand before God, and the only thing that will matter in that moment is whether they truly knew Jesus Christ. Life on earth is temporary, but eternity is forever. That is why knowing Christ is not just important—it is necessary.

Jesus did not come only to improve lives; He came to rescue sinners from destruction and reconcile us back to God. Many know about Him, but far fewer truly surrender their hearts to Him. Real faith is more than words, church attendance, or religious appearance. It means repentance, obedience, trust, and a daily walk with the Lord. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).

So don’t delay your relationship with God while chasing things that cannot last. Open your Bible, seek Him in prayer, and turn away from sin while there is still time. Christ is ready to forgive, restore, and give eternal life to everyone who comes to Him with a sincere heart. The greatest decision you will ever make is to truly know Jesus as Lord and Savior.

“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” — Mark 8:36

The gospel of Jesus Christ was never designed to fit our desires—it was designed to transform them.

Many people come to God wanting blessing, breakthrough, and comfort. But the truth is, the gospel does not offer us what we "want" —it offers us what God "wants". And what God wants is always better, even if it costs us something.

Scripture says, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord” (Isaiah 55:8-9). God’s plan is higher. His will is greater. But the problem is—our flesh resists it.

That’s why Jesus said, “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me” (Luke 9:23). Notice that—deny yourself. Not satisfy yourself. Not follow your feelings. Deny yourself.

The real gospel confronts us. It calls us out of sin, out of pride, out of self-centered living. It demands surrender.

But many people walk away because they don’t want surrender—they want control.

Just like the rich young ruler, who came to Jesus but left sorrowful because he loved his possessions more than obedience (Mark 10:21-22). He wanted eternal life—but not at the cost of letting go.

That same struggle is still alive today.

People want heaven, but not holiness.
They want salvation, but not surrender.
They want Jesus as Savior—but not as Lord.

But it doesn’t work that way.

Jesus said, “Why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?” (Luke 6:46). True faith is not just belief—it is obedience.

The reason many stay away from Christ is not because the gospel is weak—it’s because the gospel is "true" . And truth demands change.

“For the carnal mind is enmity against God” (Romans 8:7). The flesh fights against God’s will. That’s why following Jesus feels like a battle—because it is.

But here’s the hope:

What God wants for you is far better than anything you want for yourself.

His will leads to life.
His way leads to peace.
His truth leads to freedom.

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart… and he shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6).

So the question is not: What do I want?
The real question is: Am I willing to surrender to what God wants?

Because the gospel is not about adding Jesus to your life—
it’s about giving Him your life.

And when you finally surrender, you’ll discover this truth:

What God wants is not just better—it’s eternal.
