Empowered Youth who are actively involved in building their communities for Healthy Generations. We seek to holistically empower children, youth and the vulnerable communities to use their strength to create healthy generations for dev
elopment. We strive to create a generation of young people who passionately take charge of their lives and the communities in which they live, with all the strength they have to ask what they can do for their country and not what the country should do for them. We train children, youth and vulnerable communities to discover their strength, empower them to take charge of their health. We NRT–Uganda believe that everyone has something unique to offer, help them discover that uniqueness in them so that they can be who they are meant to be, not what others want them to be. We set the pace, we empower them now and get them involved. We strongly believe in having every Ugandan participate in health promotion activities (the process of enabling people to increase control over, and to improve, their health (Ottawa charter, 1986); our work is to advocate for, mediate and enable communities to achieve highest levels of health and development.
