For many autistic girls, growing up can sometimes mean learning to hide parts of who they are just to fit in.

They may mask their feelings, copy behaviours, or stay quiet about what they need, often without those around them realising what’s happening.

As parents and caregivers, let’s create spaces where girls feel safe to be themselves, express their needs, and embrace who they are without fear of judgement.

Every girl deserves to grow up knowing that she doesn’t have to hide to belong.
