Embracing the cost of disciple-making

Take a moment and think about someone who led you to Christ…
Who invested in you, walked with you, listened to you, introduced you to community, and showed up consistently.

That didn’t come cheap. It cost them time, effort, and heart.

Now the charge is ours; to ensure that same investment continues through us to others.

Discipleship is costly… but it’s worth it.

MIDWEEK CHARGE | PRAYER

β€œCall to Me and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” Jeremiah 33:3

Brothers,

When man works, man works but when man prays, God works.

Our efforts are limited to what we understand, what we’ve experienced, and what we can figure out. But the moment we bring prayer into what we do, we are saying, β€œGod, You take over because You know it all.”

And the truth is, when we truly surrender and trust Him, He surely works.

So here’s our charge for you as you go through the rest of the week:
Don’t rely on your own wisdom thinking you’ll figure everything out alone. Instead, pray over everything; your plans, your work, your decisions and trust God to work it all out for your good.

Keep showing up but stay dependent on Him.

Commitment is non-negotiable in discipleship.

On both sides.

As a discipler, you must be committed to follow Christ; model His life, teach truth, correct with love, and raise men who will follow Him even better.

As a disciple, you must be committed to the journey; show up (and on time), ask questions, stay present, and pursue God beyond just the relationship.

Discipleship works when both sides are fully in.

Rest goes beyond sleep or taking a break, it’s learning to surrender what you cannot control.

Many of us are physically rested but still mentally and spiritually drained because we’re carrying burdens God never asked us to carry.

This week, choose to trust Him fully. Release the pressure, the overthinking, and the need to have everything figured out.

Let His presence be your place of peace, and allow Him to restore you from the inside out.

Many times we desire to make greater impact and reach as many lives as possible or even feel hesitant, wondering how it’s possible to get there.

The simplest way is to identify a few faithful men, equip them, pour into them all you have, and then send them out.

You’ll be amazed at how the impact multiplies across the masses organically.

Discipleship is possible.
We have the Holy Spirit to guide us through it all.

Let’s stop holding back and step into the mission Jesus left us.

MIDWEEK CHARGE | 1 CORINTHIANS 3:11 (NKJV)

β€œFor no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”

Brothers,

What a privilege we have to stand on a firm and unshakable foundation in Christ. When everything around us feels uncertain, He remains steady.

Even in seasons of progress and success, He is still the foundation we build on and expand; not ourselves, not the world.

So the charge for you today is to pause and reflect; where have you been building on something other than Jesus? Realign.

He is faithful. He is constant. And He is always ready to receive you back.

Build on Christ. Stand firm in all seasons.

What Problem Were You Born to Answer?

Before you were formed, God already saw a need and created you as part of the answer (Jeremiah 1:5).

But beyond your specific calling, there is a shared assignment for every man: to make disciples.

No matter your field, influence, or season... this is the thread that runs through it all.
Raising others. Investing in lives. Passing on truth. Doing life together.

The question is:
Will you respond to the cry around you or continue to ignore it?

2 Timothy 2:2 makes it clear… this assignment is generational and involves people.
