That doesn't seem a very efficient food system to us, but there is another way. We need a transition to plant-based food system to save land, resources, and of course animals' lives.⁠

Our first vigil of 2026.
We gathered to remember and bear witness to the innocent lives taken from this world.
They were mothers and babies. They felt fear. They wanted to live.
If you eat their flesh, drink their milk or wear their skin, this is what you are paying for.
A life reduced to a product.
A body turned into a commodity.
You can choose to step away from this violence.
You can stop funding a system that terrorises animals who want to live - just like you.
Do better.
Be vegan.
