We honored the young mothers in our program not just with flowers, but with tools for independence.
Our team facilitated sessions on:

💰 Financial literacy — budgeting, saving, and planning for their children’s future

📿 Bead making — a practical skill for income generation

Creating safe spaces for honest conversations matters.
This week, we engaged students in an interactive session on body changes and personal development—a topic that is often misunderstood, yet deeply important during adolescence. Through open dialogue, questions, and shared experiences, students were encouraged to understand their bodies, build confidence, and make informed decisions.
It was inspiring to see their curiosity, courage, and willingness to learn.
When young people are equipped with the right knowledge, they are empowered to navigate change with confidence and dignity.

We are proud to kick-start our first cohort of the Liquid Soap Training Social Enterprise at Kyamgero Youth Empowerment Initiative Uganda.

This marks an important step in equipping young mothers with practical, income-generating skills that can support their independence and strengthen their livelihoods. Through hands-on learning and collaboration, we are building more than products—we are building confidence, resilience, and opportunity.

We had the honor of celebrating International Women’s Day in a meaningful way through a Young Mothers’ Dialogue!!

It was such an inspiring moment of listening, learning, and sharing experiences with young mothers who continue to show incredible strength, resilience, and determination despite the challenges they face.

The dialogue created a safe space for young mothers to speak openly about their journeys, their aspirations, and the support they need to thrive. Their voices reminded us that empowering young mothers is not just about addressing challenges, but also about recognizing their potential as leaders, caregivers, and changemakers in our communities.
