CCF runs the Schools Tree Planting Project that aims at empowering School Children take an integral part in the greening and conservation of their own Environment. Initiated in 2014 in Jinja – Uganda, the project aims at empowering child

ren become Environmental Stewards and catalysts for change within their own communities. We believe that children are more prone to the devastating effects of climate change which is partly caused by massive deforestation and wasteful use of the natural resources. Through this Project, we partner with schools in conducting massive tree planting exercises within School Premises with help of Teachers and children and directly involve them in conserving the tree for their future benefit and that of the communities too. The very positive response from Teachers and students coupled with the remarkable impact the project has had , encouraged us to expand the program to different Schools within Uganda.
