Following a successful engagement in Kampala yesterday, the Herbal Certification Awareness Session continues today in Wakiso, bringing together herbal enterprises to deepen their understanding of the requirements needed to operate compliant, quality-driven businesses.
The sessions, with guidance from the Uganda National Drug Authority (NDA), are providing practical knowledge on certification and registration, product quality, labelling, packaging, and regulatory compliance.
For herbal enterprises, understanding these requirements is an important step towards improving product quality, building consumer confidence, strengthening business credibility, and creating opportunities to access wider markets.
Through these engagements, we continue to support herbal enterprises with the knowledge and guidance they need to grow responsibly and contribute to a stronger, compliant, and competitive herbal sector in Uganda.
