Our Home Needs Us….Now More Than Ever!

Every tree cut, every ocean polluted, every species lost 👉it’s a piece of our planet fading away.
Mother Nature has given us everything 👉air to breathe, food to eat, beauty to behold and now she needs our help.

Let’s rise together to protect, restore, and cherish the only home we have.
Start small: recycle, plant a tree, reduce plastic, support eco-friendly initiatives, educate others. Change begins with awareness and grows with action.

We are not powerless; we are guardians of the Earth.
Let’s make sure future generations inherit a planet full of life, not loss. !!!

Launch of the EHF Environmental Club at Kashenyi Model PS

Today marked a significant milestone as Executive Director Eco Horizon Foundation (EHF) Dr. Judith Atukwatse officially launched the EHF Environmental Club at Kashenyi Model Primary School. This initiative aims to empower students with knowledge and practical skills to address climate change, promote sustainability, and advocate for gender equality.

The establishment of the EHF Environmental Clubs in schools and communities is designed to foster environmental awareness, engage youth in sustainable practices, and nurture them into active leaders who will champion solutions to environmental and social challenges. Through educational campaigns, hands-on environmental projects, and community-driven initiatives, this program seeks to create lasting change in Uganda.

With the launch of this club, Kashenyi Model PS students have taken a bold step toward building a greener future. They will be actively involved in environmental conservation efforts, sustainability projects, and advocacy programs that promote inclusivity and social transformation.

The EHF remains committed to equipping the next generation with the necessary tools to protect and sustain the environment while ensuring that young voices are heard in conversations about climate action and gender equality. Together, we are inspiring change, one club at a time!

At Eco Horizon Foundation, we believe that environmental conservation and gender equality go hand in hand. In Uganda, women and girls play a crucial role in natural resource management, yet they often face barriers to education, land ownership, and decision-making in environmental policies.

By empowering women through education, leadership, and economic opportunities, we can drive meaningful change in conservation efforts.
