🌸 A New Chapter for Maternal Healthcare in Wakiso District! 🌸

Every mother deserves the chance to experience a safe and healthy pregnancy.

We're proud to announce that, with the generous support of Luena Foundation , EHERF Uganda has successfully delivered a portable ultrasound scanner and vital medical accessories to Cornerstone Medical Centre in Bujjuko.

❤️ This means that over 2,000 expectant mothers every year will now receive FREE ultrasound scanning services, bringing quality maternal healthcare closer to their communities.

For many families, this donation means:
👶 Earlier detection of pregnancy complications
🏥 Improved antenatal care
🚶 Less travel to distant hospitals
💰 Reduced healthcare costs
💙 Greater hope for healthy mothers and healthy babies

This achievement would not have been possible without our partners, dedicated healthcare workers, community leaders, and every individual committed to improving maternal health.

Ebola is a serious and potentially deadly disease that continues to pose a threat to public health. While health authorities and humanitarian organizations work tirelessly to prevent its spread, every individual also has a role to play in protecting lives and strengthening community resilience.

At Enhance Health Education Research Foundation, we believe that awareness, prevention, and timely action are among the most effective tools in combating disease outbreaks.

We encourage everyone to:
🧼 Wash hands regularly with soap and clean water.
🚫 Avoid direct contact with bodily fluids of sick individuals.
🤝 Minimize unnecessary physical contact in areas of concern.
🏥 Seek immediate medical attention if symptoms such as fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or unexplained weakness appear.
📢 Share verified information and help combat misinformation.

Ebola is a serious and highly contagious disease that can spread through direct contact with the bodily fluids of an infected person. Protect yourself, your family, and your community.

🏥 Seek immediate medical attention if you experience symptoms such as fever, weakness, vomiting, diarrhea, or unexplained bleeding.
📢 Report suspected cases to the nearest health facility immediately.

🌱 Health & Wellness Outreach Impact – 21st March

On 21st March, Enhance Health Education Research Foundation carried out a meaningful outreach program under the theme:
“Health and Wellness for Children” at Fruits of Hope Nursery and Primary School, Kazinga.

Through interactive sessions and practical demonstrations 🩺✨, our team engaged learners in essential health topics including hygiene, nutrition, and personal care. A key highlight of the outreach was guiding students—especially girls—on proper menstrual hygiene management, including how to correctly use sanitary pads with dignity and confidence 💙.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the school leadership, especially Head Teacher Ms. Shallon Narubira, for the warm welcome and dedication to creating a supportive learning environment for every child 🌟.

This initiative reflects the mission of EHERF:
“To inspire innovative communities, lead preventive and curative breakthroughs in advancing health and education for the most vulnerable in Uganda.”

On Saturday, Enhance Health Education Research Foundation proudly hosted Ms. Elise Kant, Director of Haëlla Stichting, whose generous support sponsored the entire project — a game-changer in our mission to equip young women and girls with practical, income-generating skills. 🙌

Our trainees took the spotlight — confidently operating laptops, printers, and a heat press machine to create branded t-shirts and caps featuring the logos of both Enhance Health Education Research Foundation and Haëlla Stichting. 💻👕🔥

🎥 The energy was electric as these future leaders showcased their hands-on training, from digital design to final print — proof that when women are empowered, communities thrive.
Together, we weren’t just teaching skills — we were building confidence, creativity, and economic independence.
