Today, on World AIDS Day, we honour the strength, resilience and dignity of everyone affected by HIV.
It’s a reminder that HIV is not just a health issue — it is deeply connected to mental wellbeing, stigma, access to care and the daily realities people navigate in silence.

At Psychiki Ygeia, we stand for compassion, evidence-based support and community care. When people feel safe, informed and supported, they are more likely to seek testing, treatment and mental health services that transform lives.

Let’s challenge misinformation.
Let’s end stigma.
Let’s make mental health part of every HIV conversation.

A healthier future is one where no one is left behind.

World Children’s Day reminds us that protecting children goes beyond providing education, food, and shelter. Their mental wellbeing matters just as much.

At Psychiki Ygeia Foundation, we work with communities to create spaces where children can talk openly, understand their emotions, and receive the support they need to thrive.

Let’s raise a generation that feels safe, supported and emotionally empowered, today and every day.
Happy World Children’s Day!

Today we want to talk about one of the simplest yet most powerful tools for improving mental wellbeing, GRATITUDE.
Taking a moment each day to appreciate what we have, be it the people, the moments, and even the challenges that teach us, can shift our mindset from that of scarcity to abundance.

Always start small. Try to name three things you’re grateful for today. You might be surprised by how much lighter you feel.

Children’s mental health is shaped by so many factors — from how safe and supported they feel at home, to the relationships and learning environment they experience at school.

Stressful home situations, bullying, academic pressure, neglect, or even lack of understanding from adults can deeply affect a child’s emotional wellbeing. Sometimes, the signs are subtle — changes in behavior, mood, or social withdrawal — but they matter.

Recognizing these struggles early and offering a safe space to talk can make all the difference because healing starts when we first realize that help is needed, and then take the brave step to seek it.

As we begin this week, let’s slow down and be mindful — aware of the present moment, our thoughts, and our emotions.
Mindfulness isn’t about emptying your mind; it’s about noticing what’s happening right now without judgment.

Take a deep breath. Feel your feet on the ground.
You’re here. You’re doing your best.

Let’s walk through this week with calm, clarity, and purpose.

Mental wellness begins with awareness — and that’s where we start.

Through our school outreaches, we create safe spaces for students to talk, learn, and understand their emotions — because awareness is the first step to healing.

When young people learn to understand what they feel, they gain the power to care for themselves and others.

On this World Mental Health Day, we are reminded of the importance of caring for our mental and emotional well-being.

This year’s theme, “Access to Services – Mental Health in Catastrophes and Emergencies,” highlights the need to ensure that mental health support remains accessible, compassionate, and timely for everyone.

At Psychiki Ygeia Foundation, we remain committed to raising awareness, promoting healing, and fostering a society where every person feels seen, supported, and understood.

For a future generation that can clearly distinguish between a mental health challenge and a mental illness—and know how to handle either—we must start from the grassroots.

By creating awareness, breaking stigma, and equipping communities with knowledge, we can raise a society that prioritizes mental wellness as much as physical health.

The journey begins every conversation we start and each safe space we build. 💚

Today is World Su***de Prevention Day 💛
A reminder that every life matters and every conversation can make a difference.
Let’s break the silence, fight stigma, and create safe spaces where people feel heard and supported.

If you are struggling, please know you are not alone. Reach out, talk to someone you trust, or seek professional support.

Together, we can be the light in someone’s darkest moment. 🎗️

At Psychiki Ygeia, we believe that healthy futures are built when girls and boys are supported both inside and outside the classroom. Mental wellbeing is not just about avoiding challenges, but building resilience, self-awareness, and emotional balance.

But awareness without guidance leaves gaps. That’s why we combine knowledge with practical tools and support, helping young people make informed choices, break stigma, and thrive in every part of life.
