URGENT: Help Us Secure Land to Build a Permanent Home for Uganda’s Children
In Musima Village, Mafubira Subcounty, Jinja City, Eastern Uganda, children grow up without safe, consistent spaces to learn, receive mentorship, or dream beyond poverty.
Currently, we rely on Musima Primary School for activity space — but it is temporary. We can only meet when the school allows, and we cannot run consistent programs or store learning materials safely. The children we serve live with their families, and we do not house them but they need a safe, permanent place to gather, study, and grow.
We have identified 2 acres of land that can become a permanent school and community center for disadvantaged children aged 5–18. But we must act fast, if we don’t secure it now, we risk losing this opportunity.
Why Buying Land Matters
Owning land will allow us to:
• Build safe classrooms and tutoring spaces
• Run mentorship, counseling, and wellness programs
• Store books and learning materials securely
• Provide stability for generations of children
This is not about property for luxury. It is about creating permanence and hope a foundation that can never be taken away.
Cost Breakdown:
Land purchase: $10,000
Construction, legal fees, and setup: $10,000
Total goal: $20,000
Meet Josiah
Josiah is a Primary 5 pupil at Musima Primary School.
He is bright, curious, and dreams of becoming a teacher one day someone who can help other children believe in themselves.
But like many children in his village, he studies in overcrowded classrooms and returns home to a place with little light or quiet space for learning.
A permanent center would give Josiah:
• A safe place to study after school
• Access to books and learning materials
• Guidance from mentors
• Encouragement to keep chasing his dreams
Your support could mean the difference between his dreams fading or flourishing.
Our Goal
We are raising $20,000 to secure the land and begin establishing this permanent center.link: https://gofund.me/66d8c4e83
