The long walk to school - refugee children and teens living in Rhino Refugee Camp in Uganda, attend school outside of their villages - their schools, depending on which zone they are in, is anywhere between 7km and 15km away. The walk takes hours of their day, just to get to school and home again.
A bicycle will provide a safer, smoother, and faster way to get to school.
With less than two months to go - we still have just over 50% of the way to go to reaching our goal amount of 9300 USD - which will get us closer to providing our young refugee friends with bikes.
