Join the African Children Organization (JACO),
is a Community Based Organization registered with a government of Uganda (WCBO/344/12) under the community based organizations registration statute. Organization was formed mainly to focus on the rural urban community people development in various areas for self empowerment especially for vulnerable and orphaned children. Join African Children Organization aims at solving at the problems hidden by the fact that orphans and vulnerable are invisible yet by the very natural of their situation they are included among those are classified as disadvantaged and poor in Uganda. Children are involved with in the poverty categories most often referred to such as house holds, communities, people, which means that there is a high tendency to focus on adult- related poverty when child problems are ignored, partly because children have little power and influence with in a group that contains adult. The organization is based on the reality that every human being is unique individual and that we all have right to good health basic needs and should have access to a comfortable life in one way all another. The organization operates in rural urban areas with poor families' and disadvantaged children affected by HIV/AIDS and poverty, JACO is ensuring that it has access to them.
