This showing held the weight of process—where movement met reflection, and feedback became a tool for transformation. Invited choreographers stepped into the work with honesty and care, helping uncover what was hidden, challenge what was comfortable, and expand what is possible.

Before the next chapter at Batalo, this space allowed the story to breathe.

Deep gratitude to , and for offering your presence and perspective—your voices left a lasting imprint on the work.

Guided by Sebulime’s vision, the piece continues to evolve—layer by layer, body by body—toward something more truthful, more connected, more alive.

Another day in studio for our research & development

Sunrise, stillness, and strength with Sebulime Elisha Davis. Each breath, each stretch, each mindful pause reminds us that yoga is journey inward.

Yoga teaches balance in chaos, presence in motion, and peace in growth. As we flow together, we’re not just building flexibility in our bodies, but resilience in our minds and clarity in our purpose.

Grateful for these mornings of grounding, connection, and becoming.

Episode 2

In this episode and reflect on the lessons they’ve learned as movement artists — the courage, resilience, and growth that come with creating and carrying stories through the body. They also share challenges from the journey.
As we celebrate International Women’s Day, we honor the strength, creativity, and voices of women in art who continue to plant seeds of change through movement.
Because every journey leaves a lesson… and every lesson becomes a seed.
