I was so grateful to have attended the conference concerning the climate change, where refugees and Host Communities come together to fine out the challenges and the possible solutions to climate change, for the safety of our environment, it was faclilited by Touch and smile development, It promotes coxsit and peaceful integrated communities working in collaboration with in Uganda.

It was a great day well spent on leadership training and mentoring for refugee women and girls, it was focusing mainly on advocacy and gender based_ violence which was done by the Somali women Union Uganda. This was to strengthen their leadership stand strong for their voices.

On behalf of refugee women impact initiative, I was so privileged to be a part of the participants in the women's refugee led organization (ALOs) leaders Convening held in Kampala on 14th of July 2025. This was very crucial, impact full event, it was Convening by world University service of Canada, Authentic Africa work and the Masters card Foundation. Gathering refugee women leaders across Africa was to strengthen leadership and promote inclusive development among themselves and their communities

A generation's mother, midwife giving her precious time to serve the lives of all citizens of different countries, you have been so caring, faithful, your undoubted love and dedicated services for your people.
Being midwife need someone who's willing and capable like you, someone with humanity no segregation and discrimination and that you. Your work will always be appreciated not only human but even animals and that's the reason you see them surroundings you whenever they see you.

Refuge women's initiatives is striving looking forward to support such mother financial to elevate ,encourag their insight, for they can be mentor and future preferences for the young mother.

We wish our Ugandan friends a joyous celebration of their independence day.
