Thank you to each of you who faithfully prays for our students!
Collines was out of school for a little while as he recovered from a dental procedure, but we are SO thankful to see him back in class! And just look at that smile!
It’s pretty clear that HE is just as happy to be back!
Please keep the prayers coming for each of our students—that they would remain healthy, protected, encouraged, and successful in all that they do.
We are trusting God to guide, strengthen, and watch over each one of them. May they continue to grow and thrive in the Name of Jesus!

Our kiddos are back to school for their third and final term of the school year. (The Ugandan school year runs February to November.)

Yesterday was one of those days that fills your heart to overflowing. ❤️

We had the privilege of visiting with Seven Marks Church and sharing about the ministry of Hands for Yesu. We are so thankful for every opportunity God gives us to share what He is doing and invite others into the work.

The afternoon was especially sweet—Some very special friends that we love so dearly took time out of their day to come visit with us! (I wish I had thought to snap more photos!!)

We even had friends drive all the way from Charlotte just to spend time with us. 🥹❤️
These are friends we met in Uganda. Friends who understand pieces of our story because they have walked through many of the same things. Friends who share so many similarities with us and who have become such a precious part of our lives.
Living between two places and two worlds can sometimes make your heart ache for the people and places you’ve left behind. So yesterday felt like such a beautiful reminder of God’s kindness—bringing pieces of our Uganda life right here to us.
We are overwhelmed with gratitude for God’s provision and for the people He has placed in our lives. Every friendship, every conversation, every hug, every mile someone travels just to see us—it’s all a gift.
God has been so faithful to surround us with people who love us, encourage us, and remind us that we are never walking this journey alone.

WE MADE IT TO RALEIGH!!!
I’m especially thankful that I made this “impulse” purchase last year… because we ended up using it FOUR times yesterday! After some assistance, a hole in our tire was plugged and, Praise God, we drove 5+ hours today without a single issue! God’s provision and protection were evident every step of the way.

And now… Raleigh, here we are!
We can’t wait to visit Seven Marks Church tomorrow morning! If you’re there, please stop by and see us after each service. We’d love to meet you and share more about how you can partner with Hands for Yesu to spread the Gospel among the Deaf community of Uganda. 🇺🇬❤️

RALEIGH! We’re on our way to see you this weekend!
But first… we’re making a few stops along the way! We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to squeeze in a couple of tourist destinations and make some memories with the family along the way.
We’ll see you soon, Raleigh! We can’t wait to connect with friends, share what God is doing through Hands for Yesu, and enjoy some time together! ❤️

I’m going to put this out there again because I think a lot of you missed this yesterday. Maybe it was the holiday—I don’t know, but God needs to be praised and glorified today!
THE CHURCH RAN OUT OF CHAIRS!!
Concrete evidence that He is still working!
He is building His Church among the Deaf community in Uganda!
And if THAT doesn’t get you excited this morning, I don’t know what will!
Join me in giving God all the praise and glory for the beauty of a church with standing room only! What an incredible picture of God’s faithfulness and the work He is doing.
And please join us in praying for each of these church members—that they would continue running the race God has laid before them, faithfully sharing the Gospel and shining so brightly that no Deaf person will have to continue without the knowledge of Jesus.
God is building His Church. And we get to be a part of it. Hallelujah!

I received some amazing photos from Pastor Kasumba from yesterday’s church service, and I can’t stop smiling and praising God!
It was a full house! The church was so full that they actually ran out of chairs!
Pastor said, “I was so amazed! We even ran out of chairs for everyone! …It’s God’s grace.”
YES! It is God’s grace! What a beautiful reminder that God is building His Church and drawing people to Himself.

We’re embracing the opportunity to cultivate new memories and strengthen their connection to their American culture with the Friday night lights.
Football, cheerleaders, and the energy and camaraderie of the crowd—just another little piece of American culture for them to experience and enjoy during this season.
