The room was alive with stories and the kind of energy that reminds you why growth is worth pursuing.

Saturday 18th July, an unforgettable morning at Kampala Sunrise Toastmasters, every voice, every contribution and every moment brought us closer together as a community.

Our vibrant Toastmaster of the Day set the tone for an engaging and energetic meeting as we explored the theme, "Does Life Get Easier, or Do We Get Stronger?"

Through inspiring speeches, thought-provoking Table Topics, insightful evaluations, and heartfelt conversations, we discovered that life's greatest challenges often become our greatest teachers.

But the meeting was about so much more than speeches. We proudly welcomed and inducted new members into the Kampala Sunrise family, celebrated our outstanding Toastmasters of the Month, shared the joy of celebrating our July birthday stars, and were delighted to host visiting Toastmasters who made the morning even richer with their presence and participation.

These are the moments that define Kampala Sunrise, not just the speeches we deliver, but the people, the milestones, and the community we continue to build together.

What a remarkable day it was!

On Saturday 20th June 2026, Kampala Sunrise Toastmaters Club celebrated not one but 3 major milestones... our 200th Club Meeting, Presidential installation & Executive handover from one Committee to another, and gathered in fellowship, laughter, and celebration during our Club Social.

We were deeply inspired by incredible guest speakers; TM Harriet Ocitti, who reminded us that leadership is influence and service, and by Jacqueline Asiimwe Mwesige, who shared the powerful symbolism of the Stool, our place of instruction and continuous construction.

We were honored to welcome Toastmasters from clubs across Uganda, guests and future Toastmasters whose presence made the occasion richer, warmer, and more meaningful.

Special appreciation goes to our District Director Elect Baron Ochola for presiding over the installation ceremony and ushering in the 2026-2027 Executive Committee.

As we celebrated the 199 meetings behind us and a new leadership year ahead, we are reminded that Toastmasters is so much more than speeches.

It is connection.
It is leadership.
It is service.
It is friendship.
It is growth.

Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, served, spoke, celebrated, and shared in this remarkable milestone.
