2025 HIGHLIGHTS | STUDENT MEGA SERVICE 🎓

One of the highlights of 2025 was joining forces with All Schools for Christ and University Community Fellowship to host an all-day Student Seminar under the theme “You Are a Written Epistle.”

More than 270 students gathered, including students from schools we had been reaching and others from across Kampala and Wakiso.

✝️ The life-transforming message of the cross was boldly proclaimed, and 15 students responded to the call to follow Jesus.

🎨 Students also took part in practical sessions on faithful creative expression, exploring the centrality of Scripture, the importance of character and competence, the value of community and accountability, and what it means to live fully submitted to God in every area of life.

We’re grateful to God for the opportunity to bring students together, proclaim Christ, and equip them to live as His witnesses.

SCHOOL OUTREACHES

In 2025, we had the privilege of taking the Gospel into schools in Kawempe, Kireka and Ndejje, reaching 4,460+ students through 18 evangelistic and discipleship engagements.

❤️ 1,100+ students responded to the call to follow Jesus.

đź“– As we followed up, we discovered a growing need for deeper discipleship, leading us to start discipleship classes in schools, where students began exploring the nature and character of God through the Bible.

đź’¬ In June, we launched a monthly Q&A session, creating a safe space for students to explore their spiritual and everyday life questions. These conversations have helped us better understand students and shape more effective discipleship pathways.

We couldn’t do this alone. We thank God for those who have held hands with us in this work, bringing our different strengths together to reach the least, the last and the lost.

A special thank you to All Schools for Christ, Sabula Nation, and Jesus Legacy Missions for partnering with us in this journey. 🤝🏽

December marked The Message Uganda’s one-year anniversary, celebrated not with fanfare but on the frontlines of mission. Shoulder to shoulder with staff, partners, local volunteers, and friends from the UK, South Africa, and Ethiopia, we carried the hope of the Gospel into prisons, slums, street-connected young people, and local communities through a back-to-back seven-day outreach.

Serving alongside locals and the church through Love Where You Live, we cleaned communities and proclaimed Christ — engaging young people through football, outreach to street-connected young people, the children’s Christmas outreach, honest conversations on suffering, redemption, and the Fatherhood of God with young men, and Bloom, where girls were reminded of their God-given identity and worth. Across multiple communities, we witnessed the Gospel break through some of the darkest places, with over 300 making decisions to follow Christ.

None of this would have been possible without our mission partners: St. Nicholas COU Kalerwe, Christian Restoration Ministries, Divine Care Ministries, Gospel Arise in Slums Ministry, Sabula Nation, Tru-Tangazo, our faithful volunteers who have served tirelessly throughout the year and ofcourse the International Team under the leadership of Cyril Wilding . These seven days marked the culmination of a year of God’s faithfulness, and we give all glory and praise to Him, who continues to open our eyes to the needs of the youths in these communities and assures us of His abiding presence as He accomplishes His purposes in and through us.
