We can do better, but we need better people with the power to change the priorities to things that are more selfless, and transformative. There is no equilibrium in a world that is naturally diverse and consequently imperfect. The status quo cannot remain, because the oppressed should not remain oppressed. The deprived should not remain deprived. We believe that are a progressive society, yet we seem to find comfort while others live in despair. I cannot live my life in ignorance, I have to work harder, I have to give more. For what it's worth, I guess I will never be a contented individual, and in a sense, I guess no one should.

All the children of this world deserve to be safe, have food, have clothing and a place where they can feel safe and loved. They deserve to be educated, find music and joy in their lives. Be free to run and play witout fear.
We need to remember that they will become the adults who will decide how the next generation of children will be treated.We should all care that they will want to give to them the love and kindness they were given.
Every child belongs to all of humanity.

Though this has been a cry over for years , and now I think of what can be done to keep these causes covered!!

🚨 Ebola Outbreak Update (2026)

🦠 First known case:
The first suspected Ebola patient was a health worker in Ituri Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo, who developed symptoms on April 24, 2026, including fever, vomiting, bleeding, and severe weakness. The patient later died in a medical center in Bunia.

📍 Where did the outbreak start?
The outbreak began in the Mongbwalu and Rwampara health zones in Ituri Province, DRC, before spreading to nearby regions and crossing into Uganda.

📊 Latest reported numbers:
• 82 confirmed cases
• Around 750 suspected cases
• 177 suspected deaths reported so far
• Cases also detected in Uganda linked to travel from DRC.

⚠️ Virus strain:
Health experts confirmed the outbreak is caused by the rare Bundibugyo strain of Ebola, which currently has no approved vaccine or specific treatment.

🌍 WHO response:
The World Health Organization (WHO) declared the outbreak a Public Health Emergency of International Concern due to the rapid spread and rising cases. Emergency surveillance, testing, contact tracing, and treatment efforts are ongoing.
