Uganda partner organizations are making inroads in supporting foundational learning, girls' groups, and ECCDE centres. Community Focus International, Arua Youth Development Initiative, and FICH are receiving an overwhelming number of learners at the established ECCDE centres. Development Path for Community Transformation and CFI have established girls' groups providing business and entrepreneurship skills for sustainable livelihoods.

Day 1: Teachers from Oyam and Arua districts undergo refresher training on TaRL at KCDC, Oyam as term one opening nears. The model helps learners catch up for better educational outcomes in primary schools. It was first implemented in India before rollout.

volunteer Max Patel, is on the road helping VSLAs review their constitutions & policies to strengthen group dev't. These groups are part of FICH's Women Empowerment program, benefiting from a supplemental revolving fund supported by TCP Global.
Through the group revolving loan, members invest in income generating activities thereby improving their livelihood and giving women VOICE in the community. FICH is Grateful for the partnership
