Hamiza Development Foundation

Hamiza Development Foundation aims at inclusive, empowered and resilient households and communities.

The Hamiza Development Foundation is looking at addressing the challenges women and girls face. The need to work on these challenges is informed by the inequalities girls and women continue to face in Uganda. Empowering women and girls to address the challenges they face will require persistent, grounded, and consistent approaches that HAMIZA seeks to apply. We also realize that to address issues affecting women, we have to involve men in causing behavioral change.

World Hepatitis Day – 28 July
Today, Hamiza Development Foundation joins the global community to raise awareness about hepatitis. We encourage communities to get informed, seek testing, access available vaccination and treatment services, and help reduce stigma and misinformation.
Together, we can build healthier and more informed communities.
