RAAC Sewing Center Monthly Report
May 2026
Dear Friends and Supporters,
Greetings to you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
On behalf of the RAAC Foundation and the beneficiaries of the RAAC Sewing Center, we would like to express our sincere gratitude for your continued support, prayers, and encouragement. Your generosity is making a lasting difference in the lives of many vulnerable women and young people in our community.
Progress This Month
The sewing center has continued to grow steadily throughout the month. We have maintained regular training sessions, and our students are becoming more confident in operating sewing machines, taking measurements, cutting fabric, and producing simple garments.
Several trainees who joined with little or no sewing experience can now independently sew basic items. Their confidence and hope for a better future have greatly increased.
Impact on Beneficiaries
The sewing center is providing more than vocational skills. It is restoring dignity, purpose, and hope to individuals who previously had limited opportunities for income generation.
All our trainees come from vulnerable backgrounds and have expressed gratitude for the opportunity to learn a practical skill that can help them support themselves and their families. The center has also created a positive environment where participants encourage one another and build meaningful relationships.
Current Needs
As enrollment and participation continue to increase, we are experiencing a growing need for additional materials and supplies, including:
- Fabrics for practical training
- Sewing threads of different colors
- Scissors and measuring tapes
- Tailor's chalk and pattern-making materials
- Additional sewing machines
- Ironing equipment
- Training tables and chairs
These materials are essential for maintaining the quality of training and accommodating the increasing number of learners.
Challenges
While we celebrate the progress made, we continue to face challenges related to limited training materials and equipment. At times, students must share resources, which slows down practical learning sessions. Additional support would greatly improve training efficiency and allow us to reach more beneficiaries.
Appreciation
We thank You, who has stood with us. Your investment is changing lives and equipping people with skills that can break cycles of poverty and dependency.
Because of your support, hope is being restored, families are being encouraged, and lives are being transformed.
Looking Ahead
In the coming month, we hope to expand practical training opportunities, increase production projects for trainees, and welcome additional learners who are eager to acquire sewing skills.
We kindly ask for your continued prayers and support as we work together to empower vulnerable girls through vocational training.
May God richly bless you for being part of this mission.
Sincerely,
Lumala Ronald
